Details for "PRODUCIBLE SHALE LOG EVALUATION AND INTEGRATED COMPLETION OPTIMIZATION"
Shale evaluation using conventional open hole logs can determine key producing parameters such as porosity, permeability, hydrocarbon volumes, TOC, mineralogy, and rock strength data. By using this data in a multi-scenario fracture stimulation model, the optimal completion design can be determined and accurate predictions of producibility can be made.
Britt Hill joined NuTech Energy Alliance in 2002. Today he manages technology and product development and focuses on developing petrophysical applications and relationships to rock properties. Mr. Hill is a 1980 graduate of the University of Oklahoma, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear Engineering. Mr. Hill holds two patents related to the oil and gas industry as well having developed many innovative processes related to petrophysics. Mr. Hill is also affiliated with the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), Oklahoma City Geologic Society (OCGS), and American Petroleum Institute (API).
