Format:
FOUR PERSON SCRAMBLE flighted by team handicap. Handicaps may be verified. If a player does not have a handicap, show best 18 hole score and course played. A handicap will be assigned up to a maximum of 30.

Once again it is time for the Society of Petroleum Engineers Annual Permian Basin Golf Tournament. The Golf Tournament is scheduled to take place on Friday, September 8th 2006, at the Hogan Park Golf Course in Midland. Last year's tournament was a huge success. We had 460 players representing 170 different companies participate, making it one of the premier golf events in the Basin. This tournament has historically been one of the primary sources of funds for the Permian Basin SPE Scholarship Fund. This year we awarded a total of $64,000 in scholarships to 32 college students (double last year’s amount) from our immediate area seeking to enter into the petroleum industry. This was only possible due the terrific support of last year's sponsors.
Attached you will find a list of possible sponsorship levels. Please look over the different options available and feel free to call if you have any questions.
In addition to the varying sponsorship levels, we are soliciting Ditty Bags and Door Prizes items. Our goal is to have 500 participants so please take that into account when considering ditty bag items. If you are interested in donating any items or services, please give me a call.
This is one of the top tournaments each year in the Permian Basin and we truly hope that you and your company choose to be part of it with the Permian Basin Section of the SPE.

SPONSORSHIP OPTIONS

Company name on large giveaway item (i.e. Shirt, Pullover).

Company name would appear on the hats given to all participants.
$2,500 - Golf Cart Sponsor
Company Name on all contestant golf carts (huge success at the API tournament)
$2,500 - Towel Sponsor
Company name would appear on the towels given to all participants.

Company name would appear on the Grand Prize Sign.

Company would be recognized as the donor of the Raffle items & logo would appear on the Raffle tickets. Multiple large items, like a set of Irons, BBQ, or large flat screen TV.

Company name on one of the award signs for the contest holes (closest to the pin and longest drive).

Sponsor a watering hole, name will appear on T-Box Sign.

Company name on TEE BOX.
If your company would like to donate any Ditty Bag Items, a Birdie Sponsorship Level would be acknowledged in kind (for all Ditty bag items the count is 500).
